  • 500g cowpea
  • 3 pepperoni sausages
  • 300g pork backfat
  • 300g pork ribs
  • 300g of jerked beef
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon of oil

Peel and boil the beans to clean. Drain the water and put in the pan to cook. Boil the meat twice for desalting and add to the beans for 40 minutes. Check if it is cooked. Stew the garlic with the onion and season the beans. Serve with rice, collard and manioc porridge. Serves 8 servings.
