FEIJOADA OF PIGEON PEAS

Recipe: FEIJOADA OF PIGEON PEAS

Ingredients:

  • 500g of pigeon pea, peeled and washed
  • 200g of pork ear
  • 200g of pork foot
  • 200g of sausage
  • 200g of pork backfat
  • 300g of jerked beef
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bay leaf

Preparation:

Desalt the meat. In a saucepan place the beans, garlic, onion and sauté them. Add one liter of water and the meat. Cook over medium heat for one hour. Serve with rice and collard.
