PEANUT CANDY (PEANUT AND CORNMEAL)
Recipe: PEANUT CANDY (PEANUT AND CORNMEAL)
- 500g of peanut
- 500g of cornmeal
- 500g of Sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
- a pinch of salt
Roast the peanuts, peel, separate the shell and then grind in a mortar and pestle to form a paste. Toasting the cornmeal in a saucepan stirring constantly, when roasted ("smells good and when put in the mouth does not gather") put in the mortar with the sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Continue grinding until becomes a powder. To test the point, siving a small part of the powder and if nothing is left at the sive, it is good. If it does not fit in the mortar, grind smaller quantities, making in parts.
