CORNMEAL SOLE
Recipe: CORNMEAL SOLE
Ingredients:
- cornmeal
- water
- sugar
- salt
- banana leaf as container
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients, leaving the consistency firm to not drain. Cut the banana leaf to line the wood stove. Place the dough to be about 1.5 cm (1 finger) high. Cover with another banana leaf.
* The wood stove bakes quickly, leaving a burned edge.
** Is similar to a shoe sole, thus the name.
