Coconut Candy
Ingredients:
- sugar
- fresh Coconut
Preparation:
“Remove the meat from the coconut and peel. Grate. In a saucepan place the coconut and sugar. Mix well and light the fire. Do not stop stirring. When you take this mixture and does not drop it is time to take out from the heat and immediately put on a clean and smooth (marble) surface. Remove with a large spoon and making the pile in the format you want. It can not take long. Let it cool down and serve.”
* Careful with fire. It must be low to avoid burning the syrup. The gravy gets very thick.
