Sweet Papaya – Sweet for Wedding


  • 900g of papaya (1 papaya)
  • 2 cinnamon stick (if powder put after taking fire)
  • 10 to 15 cloves
  • 1 kg of granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ liter of water
  • 30g of desiccated coconut


Cut, remove the seed and grate the papaya. While grating, the syrup is on fire with sugar cinnamon and cloves. Place the grated papaya in a cloth, rinse under running water, rubbing it into the cloth. "Squeezing very well" to put the syrup to a boil, cooking over high heat for half an hour.
