Sweet Papaya – Sweet for Wedding
- 900g of papaya (1 papaya)
- 2 cinnamon stick (if powder put after taking fire)
- 10 to 15 cloves
- 1 kg of granulated sugar
- 1 ½ liter of water
- 30g of desiccated coconut
Cut, remove the seed and grate the papaya. While grating, the syrup is on fire with sugar cinnamon and cloves. Place the grated papaya in a cloth, rinse under running water, rubbing it into the cloth. "Squeezing very well" to put the syrup to a boil, cooking over high heat for half an hour. Remove from heat and add the coconut. Stir and leave to cool uncovered.
