Mashed Cassava a La Baiano


  • 200g of jerked beef
  • 200 g of bacon
  • 3 tomatoes
  • green onion
  • parsley
  • onion
  • Mashed cassava:
  • Garlic (1 head)
  • 1 tablespoon of onion
  • 2 beef stock cube
  • 5 tablespoons of cornmeal
  • 300 g of baiano*


Sauce: Heat the jerked beef for about 10 minutes to remove the salt, drain the water and then fry with garlic and onion. Mince the sauce ingredients and add the jerked beef to cook.
Mashed cassava: Put water to boil. Dissolve the corn flour in a cup with cold water, then add it to the boiling water already with the beef stock, garlic and onion. Stir for 10 minutes, put the baiano and cook for 40 minutes.
